Are you interested in First Responder Classes?
Have you ever wondered what to do for the patient on a medical call or at a motor vehicle collision until the ambulance or more skilled personnel arrive? Want to know more, but don't have the time to invest in a 110 hour EMT-B class? My name is Brenda Sinning and I've been thinking about teaching and hosting a 40 hour First Responder's class this fall starting in October. This would involve 2 nights a week for about 6 to 7 weeks, with an occaisional Saturday. We'd wrap up the classes before Thanksgiving. Some of the guys from the Chancellor Fire Department are interested in the class and I'd need to have about 10 commited people to make the class possible. If you are interested, drop me an e-mail at

or give me a call at 605-366-6202. I'd be happy to answer any questions. The cost of the class will be nominal--enough to cover the cost of books, etc. There is a National Registry Written Test to take, but I will have you do practicals to complete my course. I hope to hear from some of you over the summer. Thanks for reading my blog and your interest! Readers have left 2 comments. 1. Untitled Lennox Area Ambulance, Publisher I did forget to mention, for those of you who don't know me, I am a volunteer paramedic with the Lennox Area Ambulance. Classes would be held at our facility in Lennox. 2. Untitled Don McLeer, Publisher Thanks Brenda! |
